- cDC前駆細胞（マウスpDC-like cell、ヒトAS-DC）が、pDC分画に混入していることが報告されている。
- pDCとcDCは、各々異なるケモカインを使って異なる経路からリンパ節に入ってくることを示唆している。
- これらの報告から、pDCは、自然リンパ球（innate lymphocyte）に分類し得ることを提唱した。

- pDCs have limited ability to process protein antigens into peptides, present them in conjunction with MHC molecules to activate naive T cells.
- It has been reported that cDC precursors (mouse pDC-like cells and human AXL+SIGLEC6+ DCs (AS-DCs)) are present in the pDC fraction.
- pDCs and cDCs enter lymph nodes via distinct pathways, each using distinct chemokines.
- Based on these reports, we propose that pDCs can be classified as innate lymphocytes.
